Class description:

We will start with an introduction to the glassblowing studio and the tools we'll be using. Classes are geared for beginners but can accommodate more skilled glassblowers. Students will start by making a paperweight.

Next, a teacher will guide you through making a blown vessel of your choice, such as an ornmanet, a bowl, a cup, or a vase.  Typically, students leave with 2-3 pieces that they have made after their first class. All students will need to return to the studio to pick up their pieces once they've cooled. This takes one day.

The class is appropriate for students 16 years or older. Younger students would need to be accompanied by a parent who is also taking the class.

Students will get the use of a limited amount of color and have the option to purchase more color and dichroic accents if they chose.
